Using Ballistocardiography (BCG), the sensor provides healthdata contactless in the app, on pasient statusboard, and in the admin portal for use in the healthcare and care sector. The technology detects the tiny movements that occur in the body when the heart beats and during breathing. These movements propagate through the body and into the mattress, where the sensor captures them. The small movements are converted into electrical impulses. These are amplified and registered by the sensor, and showed as alarms or statuses. We use quality-assured technology developed in collaboration with European research communities.
